Anjappar – Authentic Chettinadu Restaurant

Well I had to order from Anjappar (Bday treat for my colleagues). Heard a lot good reviews & then decided, let me give it a try!!!!

I called them up & was greeted Hello by Sivadas. He really turned out to be a great help :)

He, with lot of patience spoke to me about various dishes & finally he only suggested with the order!!! I told him we are 5 in number. What he ordered was just the right amount for all of us !!!

So what did we order???

It was placed for Chicken Biriyani (2 No), 8 Plates Chapathi with Chettinadu Chicken Roast (2 No's). They sent the above with side dishes Salad & Gravy.

So whats the feedback?? I would say It was really really Good!!! Everybody was in love with the Chapathi. Chapathi's were so soft & I guess a lil bit sweet which did make the hit!!! I really liked the Chapathi!

Chicken Biriyani was also very tasty ... U really dont need any side dishes for that!!! Chicken Biriyani had all the spices in it :) & that unique flavor.

Chettinadu Chicken Roast was also a hit ... I was feeling sad that I ordered only two .. But it turned out to be the correct amount for all!

Price Tag: For all the above, it turned out to be KD 8.500 which was OK.

Hopefully sooner, we will visit the restaurent with family members!!!
